‘Giant Aircraft’ is No 35 in the successful Aviation Archive series. It features unparalleled photographic coverage, including many exclusive and rare shots that have never been published before.

Aircraft are listed in chronological sequence of their first flight. Owing to space restrictions we have not included the so-called ‘Guppy’ family of aircraft, existing machines that have been mutated to carry outsize parts of airliners.

The words and photographs are complemented by ‘period’ cutaways from the talented pens of the ‘Flight’ and ‘Aeroplane’ artists of the era, together with exclusive aircraft profiles.
