The Breguet XIV was an important aircraft in the Spanish Military Aviation due to the hard and prolonged work it carried out in Morocco.

Equipped with a robust airframe, with a mainly metallic structure, it was preferred by many to the DH.4 for regular use in Morocco, although the Fiat engines did not have the operational reliability of the Rolls-Royce Eagle, which ended up being installed in the Breguet XIV, in the final years of its service life.
