The UNL-35 was a light armored vehicle manufactured by the Republic during the Spanish Civil War. For many, the UNL-35 was the best armored vehicle of that conflict. It was designed based on the BA-20 by a team led by the Soviet engineer Nicolai Alimov at the workshops of the Valencian company Unión Naval de Levante (UNL).

The first series of the vehicle used the chassis of the Soviet ZIS-5 truck, which had its wheelbase reduced to 2.54 m; later, other available vehicle chassis such as Ford V8 trucks would be used.
